FINAL ENTRY FOR CHEFS - JULY 31, 2017

The International Lord of Rice Competition promotes the sustainable approach to rice cultivation as well as demonstrates the benefits and adaptability of rice as a food.

The competition welcomes Chefs from every cooking background and style to  enter and prepare a rice dish that not only wows the judging counsel, but also excites the "live" crowd on the day of the finals.

The selected and winning Chef will be awarded a cash prize, a trip to Macau, mainland China to help judge the "World's Best Rice" and, of course, the coveted LORD OF RICE title and trophy!

The entry period for the 2017 Lord Of Rice competition is now open to qualified professional chefs who currently own or work in restaurants. If you would like to compete in this year's competition and put your dish up against the very best, fill out the form below. All Chefs wishing to compete must pre-qualify.  All entries will be reviewed by the committee at the International Commodity Institute, in conjunction with The Rice Trader.
